The ownership group consists of a team of highly skilled professionals, each bringing a wealth of experience to the table. Our journey together began decades ago, with key members like Lonnie Miller, Jason Campbell, Matt Riker, Ryan Nance, Rusty Nance, and Kevin Hillhouse, who together combine over 100 years of experience in the gunsmithing and firearms industry.

Matt Riker and Jason Campbell share a bond that spans 25 years, having forged not only a professional partnership but a deep friendship built on trust and shared goals. In 2005, they were joined by Lonnie Miller, forming a dynamic trio committed to crafting precision custom 1911 pistols that would soon become synonymous with quality. The addition of Ryan and Rusty Nance brought even more depth to the team, each brother bringing a unique set of skills honed over a decade of gunsmithing.

Matt’s connection with Kevin Hillhouse goes back even further, to high school days in 1986. Over the years, their friendship evolved into a professional partnership, with Kevin becoming a Master Gunsmith and Matt excelling in Sales, Marketing, and product development. Together, they have combined their expertise to create firearms that continue to impress and exceed the expectations of gun enthusiasts worldwide.

The culmination of these relationships and skills led to the creation of Kings River Customs, a true custom 1911 shop where excellence in craftsmanship and innovation meet. With Scott Larousse joining the team in 2015 as a Salesman/Account Manager, the family of craftsmen, gunsmiths, and sales experts solidified its foundation and vision. The diverse backgrounds and expertise of each team member come together in a unified effort to create firearms that are not only functional but masterpieces in their own right.
